Intro

Hi there
I'm a single mom to a 3.5 year old little girl and have been working since she was 1 month old. Jip, only 4 weeks of Maternity leave!🙈 Times were tough and lean, working hours were ridiculous, but through the Grace of God I managed to breastfeed her until she was 22 months old.
She was scheduled for a C-Section (yes, I seriously wanted my pregnancy to end), but then decided she was ready and ended up being a normal birth (with an epidural- labour pains are not for sissies!!)
I'm a full time employee & mommy, while trying to balance a very challenging job with being a mom,care-giver,tutor,chef-the list is endless!
Some days I feel like the biggest failure, nothing gets done, baby is clinging, my hair in an (uncombed) mom-bun, other days I'm on top of the world!
Through it all I do my best to trust in God's plan, and in His time, even though it all gets so overwhelming!  I was raised a Christian and I have always believed, but this year I gave my heart to Jesus and I've been doing my best to leave it all in His Hands
